Mastodon Super-Heavy Assault Transport

So this has been in my wants list since i saw a friends in the flesh. Its got to really be seen to be appreciated. My buddy Joe said he had one and he would consider selling it, I said give me first dibs if you do. A few years later here we are  The was painted in Salamanders legion colours and honestly done well, I almost didn't want to repaint it. The kit itself was mostly complete, missing a few pieces and had some broken pieces but it wouldn't stop me bringing this sleeping giant back to life!

30k Ultramarines vs Imperial Fists

Met up with my buddy Joe who brought his latest Heresy army the Ultramarines which do look truely stunning, they have been getting quite a lot of well deserved attention at events and online, rightfully so. It really is a pleasure to play against an amazingly well painted army!  Hobby Workshop once again hosted us for the day and they always make us feel so welcome. It was our last game of Heresy 2.0 and our last in the current store for Hobby Workshop as they are moving on to bigger and better things. Joe has wrote up a killer bat rep for me as his memory is soooooo much better than mine!! As promised, here is a write up of our game: Imperial fists vs Ultramarines, the age old battle of the bean counters some would say. GREETINGS FROM THE WARP 2021 The air shimmered with heat and ash as the surface of Graia Secundus buckled once again under the tread of god-machines. Once a proud bastion world of strategic Imperial value, it now burned in the crucible of betrayal. Thunder rumbled across the horizon from the footsteps of Titanic war machines. The ground trembled beneath them as they advance on the war torn forge city of Cyaxus Prime. As the red sun rose over the wastelands beyond the city walls, the towering enemy Titans come into view. The vox channels screamed into life with binaric curses and twisted hymns. Deafening war horns ring out from both sides.
