Titan Name: Ascend Into The Eternal (Ascende In Aeternum)

Pattern: Mars Pattern Warhound Titan  

Primary Armament: Vulcan Mega Bolter / Plasma

I always start a Titan by painting the feet first! 

trying to make the scheme different to my other Warhound Titans. 

all the pistons painted that will be hidden by armour! 


With the amour I wanted again to try something different to what I'd done before.

started mapping in the skull, the warhound doesn't lend itself easily and it wasn't as natural as my other skull designs but I enjoyed the challenge none the less. Freehanding is not my strongest area.


I was really happy with how the mean skull was looking until my partner pointed out id painted what looks like boobs on its head!!! Not what I wanted to hear at the end of a painting session.
What has been seen, cannot be unseen.it was at this moment the paints came back out and i tried to fix this issue late into the night!!


went to town on interior details no one will ever see too.


The Princeps reminds me of Aaron from the band My Dying Bride! 




























Update 2023 the skull is no more! I honestly couldn't get along with my work on the head, I felt like it distracted too much. So i went back to blue!

The Thunderhawk gunship ! An image I took of the latest Thunderhawk model on one of my many Warhammer World visits! I've wanted to cover the Thunderhawk in depth for a very long time, and now I have a very good excuse so please bare with me. The Thunderhawk gunship is used by the Adeptus Astartes as their primary means of deploying forces for ground combat as well as their primary source of air support. The Thunderhawk gunship is often considered the lynchpin of any Space Marine Chapter, as it is able to fulfill many combat roles. Titan Prototypes and old rarities

I thought it was worth looking back at some of the prototype Titans, out of production models and now rare oddities that have long gone from the Forge World catalogue.  The REAVER Titan prototype was unveiled as a work in progress at Games Day 2007. Game changing bomb shell as Forge World unveils its largest resin Imperial Titan model! Even though its since been eclipsed some what by its larger newer relatives, the Warbringer and Warlord its still a very impressive model 16 years layer! Some really interesting big differences between the prototype that Will Hayes was still working on at this point, compared to the one that saw general release. When I purchased my 1st Reaver I was intrigued by the plate above the head with the cog detail on, its a nice panel that once the model is fully built, that piece of armour almost vanishes from view entirely under the thick larger over hanging carapace armour.
